Guest guest
After reading through some old post, I can't help but notice an incredible amount of Band-bashing!..What's going on? Is the sleeve the only option now? I don't think so..the sleeve and the by-pass are very invasive proceedures.. Do you all really think they are less risky than the band?? I'm sure they have as many if not more possible complications associated with them as to the band. I will say, I know an lot of bandsters that are totally happy with the band and their successes. I also know folks who have had problems with these other surgeries..not being able to eat, vomiting, unsatifactory weight loss and gaining weight back are real possibilities with these surgeries as well as with the band. They all change our anatomy..and each carry risk. Let these new people decide and research for themselves which surgery & what risks they are willing to take.
