My mom was going to take me but she is strongly opposed to me getting the surgery......She initially supported me but apparently she spoke to a woman in the grocery store who told her it was a bad idea (I'm shaking my head). Anyway, long story short, she is not going with me now. Is it realistic of me to think that I can drive myself? Has anyone else done it? I am about 3 hours away. I can probably find someone else to take me but I'm just done with everyone being so unsupportive. My brother told me that he doesn't condone what I am doing and that he won't be calling me until after I am back.
