Guest guest
Margo,Thanks for your examples...I was beginning to think there was something wrong with me. I'm 4 months out and can eat about the same as you but more often, not even that much. Dr Aceves told me that my ability to drink pretty much as usual from early on after my surgery was just that I was healing well. I am 7 1/2 months out and can still only eat at one time (Not ALL of these at once! I mean ONE of these at a sitting):1/2 slice of pizza on low carb thin crust2 ounces (average) of lean protein + a bite or two of veg 1/3 cup cottage cheese1 cheese stick wrapped in thin slice of turkey, ham or beef2 barbecue pork ribs1 egg with 1/2 slice whole grain toast1/3 cup of turkey, chicken or tuna salad1 Ryevita cracker with peanut butter Margo On Sat, Sep 25, 2010 at 11:57 AM, tonjuark <tonjuark@...> wrote: I am 10 days post op. I can consume I feel more the 3ozs liquid comfortably at a time. I try not to go over that, but I have noticed that I have come close and have no restriction feeling or discomfort. Do you think my pouch is to big???? I still feel hungry, but I am dealing ok with that.
