Excitement, anxious, self guessing if you are doing the right things, can't wait for it to happen, what in the world am I doing? These are all normal feelings, most of us have had. It is going to be just fine, I promise you that you will wake up after the surgery and be just fine. You will never have a regret, the only one you will have is why didn't I do this sooner? Please remember to have food that you can eat when you first get home after having the weight loss surgery. It is really nice that when you walk in the door that there is something there you can have. Find a protein that you like--stay away from Isopure--it taste like pond scum--no kidding it is awful. Don't panic if you can only eat about 2 tablespoon's of anything at first you new stomach is recoverying. This is pretty normal. The first month is the hardest, that is when you will get bored with the 10 days of clear liquids, 10 days of creamy liquids and 10 days of mushy foods. I can tell you that when you first start eating regular food that you MUST take tiny baby bites, and chew and chew and chew. It is a relearning process of eating, and you will just have to figure that one out on your own. We have ALL been there, and still work on eating small tiny bite. For your entire life you have been shoveling the food in and not chewing much. That is pretty natural and normal. >> >> Enjoy your life changing journey you are about to do. It is amazing and you are going to be so happy with where it is going to take you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. >> >> Hugs, >> Suzanne >> >> In a message dated 3/15/2010 8:05:31 A.M.
