HI all, happy holidays to you all! I hope that you are watching

those sweet treats this holiday season!! :-) Things are good here.

I have been working out like a mad woman at the YMCA. Last week my

husband and I worked out 6 days and this week we will do 5. I am

really pushing myself right now because I seem to be at a place in my

weight loss journey where my body doesnt want to drop pounds! I get

so frustrated, but I Try to mentally talk myself through this. I am

working out so intense that I think I am building tons of muscle. I

can see and feel my body shaping but that scale is making me crazy!

my lowest was 217, then I went up to 220. I dont see how I can gain

4 lbs when I am working out 2 hours a day and watching what I eat! I

have actually increased my calorie intake to keep up with my body's

demand. I dont think 800 calories is enough when you are working out

that hard. so I have up my intake to 1,200 calories even 1,500

sometimes. But that shouldnt cause me to gain when I am working out

this hard. Plus the food I am eating is all quality foods....

protein shakes, salads, fruits, lean proteins, nuts. so I think what

I am going through is a gaining muscle phase. so what I have decided

to do is cut back on my weight lifting from an hour a night to half

an hour, and then take the amount of weight I am lifting down and do

more reps. Because on some of the machines I can lift up to 100 and

some pounds! but I am not looking to be a body builder, I still want

to look feminine and curvy. and I am using my cardio from 30-40

minutes to 60 minutes. so I hope this breaks me through my latest

plateau. So, this is my life in a nutshell lately. Being obsessed

with fitness and working out. It is so addicting to me, I love

it!!! :-)

well you all take care and I will try to get on more often. this

month has been so busy!

happy holidays!!

big hugs,
