Hehe, thanks! And while I'm still working on that, what I know is that it was

31.5 12 weeks ago and now it's 28.5 and that makes me very very very happy :)

Hi everyone... Well I did it... but it was not easy! It does keep getting easier

every day like you all said tho! I was just so surprised at how really hard it

was... and what was funny is how everyone was talking about how good I was

doing! The second day, when everything wore off and you have to drink the blue

stuff was by far the worst. For some reason I could not get comfortable on the

hospital bed so I got literally no sleep... and then my boyfriend only had a

small couch or the rollout chair to use, so he got no sleep either lol. I had a

constant burping/belching issue before surgery and was told that I have a hiatal

hernia... but Dr. Aceves said he found nothing? I was a little worried because

if the hernia wasn't causing the burping, then what was? I am still burping

constantly and still have to sit straight up (just like I used to) in order to

get the burps out, but I am praying that it is just the gas from the procedure.

Any thoughts on that anyone? I am feeling better, and I have had my thoughts of

omg I can't go back and this and that, but I am staying positive and reminding

myself that I wanted this and I needed it and that things will get easier and

better! Thank you everyone for all your support it means a lot!

The burping is for two reasons.  The gas used to inflate your belly and from esophageal inflammation.  I remember after surgery I was burping in an embarrassing way a full month after surgery.  I really questioned what I had just done, was this to be my new life?  Dr. Aceves explained it was esophageal inflammation and it would go away.  He was absolutely right, it did.
