Guest guest
With all of the news lately I am wondering if any " sleevers " have traveled through the airport lately? I am envisioning being held up for hours and missing a flight while trying to explain my titanium stitches in my stomach after going through the new TSA scanner. I am also not interested in getting " frisked " by a TSA screener doing a manual " search " . I know with the old system these staples where not suppose to set off anything but I bet they show up with the new scanners. I intend to get a letter from Dr. Aceves that I can produce upon checking in at security but it will interesting to see if it is enough. I have read that breast implants are visible (not a worry for me but maybe the other 98% of CA females...lol). Also if you do opt for the physical " pat-down " be sure to ask the TSA agent to change into new gloves as I read that they are not doing this. Simple hygiene here folks...cannot believe they get by with this. Kimber P.S. I have not traveled since my sleeve procedure 14 weeks ago but plan to the first of next year, perhaps they will have changed the TSA protocol by then...
