What do i need to do?

i have state medical..i want this surgery i am very obese.. i have diabetes..

hypertantion .. i want to see my son grow he only has me since his father died

when my son was 3 months old.. i dont know how to go on about having this

surgery and if my state medical will pay this surgery is there any help i can

get as in how and what i have to do to have my medical approve it.. where do i

start... my health is my main concerned been obese since childhood and all diets

have failed.. someone please give me advice as in what i can do..thank u

Most state Medicaid will pay for surgery, but not all.  You'll have to do a 6-12 month diet and a bunch of evals of various types.  You're biggest battle will be to find someone that takes Medicaid for WLS.  They usually have fairly long waiting lists.  A friend of mine is trying to get her band removed and revised to a sleeve or bypass and every single doctor in the state has quite a waiting list. (  I don't see it happening for her for quite some time.
