~Central Floridian Getting Sleeved June 15 with Dr. Aceves~

Hello All,

I am brand new to this board. My name is , and I am getting sleeved with

Dr. Aceves on June 15. I have been lurking on the board for a few weeks and

finally got the courage up to post this note.

I am concerned about after care in Central Florida. If anyone can provide me

the name of a bariatric surgeon with whom I may follow up post-op here in the

Central Florida area, I would greatly appreciate it. Although I cannot wait to

be on the losers' bench, I am so nervous about eating after surgery and becoming

malnourished. I have some anxiety about giving up the foods that comfort me,

and this is causing me a little anxiety, although I know it will be worth it.

I would also love to hear from anyone from Central Florida who has already been

sleeved by Dr. Aceves. My husband is supportive (but concerned) about the

surgery. I will be traveling by myself. He needs to stay and watch our kids.

Although he is supportive, I don't feel like I have any support right now with

regards to a community who has " been there " and knows what to expect, and am

trying to build my own support system.
