Don't be afraid - be excited. This is an awesome journey. Yes, the first 30 days are hard. PS - RE the restaurant card issue: revel in leftovers! Think of how many meals you can get out of one order. I no longer feel restaurant prices are too high when I realize that I buying not just lunch, but dinner and lunch for the next day as well. And if I'm lucky enough to be dining with a sensible eater, we can split a plate. I love having lunch with my Mom - we can split our favorite burger - I eat 1/4th and she gets the other 3/4th and we're both happy and quite full.I've also noticed that my friends from work that I regularly dine with are starting to eat less now. Seems I'm now a good influence on those around me without saying a word! Never dreamed I'd be in THIS spot!Happy New Year everyone and Happy New You!!!Cheryl*
Guest guest
Awesome Cheryl!!! I'm 7 months out and my experience has seemed to have mirrored yours. I split meals with eveyone I eat out with, everyone is willing to support my new eating habits and all are shocked at how much they all really over eat!! I weight less now then I did the last weight loss go around and have not been this weight 144 since 1993! The last time I lost in 2000 I got to 147 and started back up again. Love your message its all so true. Way to go! 5/15/10 214/144/120 dos/now/goal From: CherylH <boernecheryl@...> Sent: Fri, December 31, 2010 9:14:58 AMSubject: Milestone! WOO HOO!!!
