In another week you will feel much better and most of the post-op pains will subside. I would get some more pain meds and/or muscle relaxers from your doctor. I can't imagine he would not give them to you this soon after surgery. Even here in Sweden, a very narcotic phobic country, they made sure I had enough. I was wondering how the stimulator is working for you? Hope you are at least getting good relief from it. Good Luck, Bernadette >
Guest guest
It has been 10 days since I had my sleeve conversion surgery. It has been a busy, hectic, sometimes frustraing but mostly wonderful 10 days. My clothes are already fitting SO much better and I imagine it will be time to pull out the next size down pretty soon. I have lost 18 pounds over these 10 days. I have been getting in LOTS and LOTS of water!!! PLUS, I have been walking and walking and walking several times a day. I don't go very far at the time but, by the day's end, I have covered about 1.5 miles. I'm ready to move on to liquids that are a bit thicker. Tell me some delicious things you ate during this phase. Guest guest
Jenni, Congrats on your weight loss. Doesent that sound great "about time to pull out some smaller sizes". I love it! I'm doing the same. lol When I hit phase 2 I stuck with thicker creamed soups,I happen to love tomato so I ate alot of those heat and go s soups. I also ate very thined out mashed potatos, kept eating popcycles, started drinking milk again, you can try pudding but it did not agree with me. Even the sugar free made me feel yucky. But eveyone is different and I also started on protein shakes. I'm sure others have some ideas too but thats what I stauck with till phase 3 when you can have eggs!!! Yummy.
