Stalling

I had my surgery on Nov. 1st & have lost 25 #'s so far. I've been reading the

posts & sympathize with the lady that has stalled, I seem to have hit a stall as

well??? I managed to lose 30 #'s, but by the next morning, only a few hours

later, I gained 5 #'s... I seem to be stuck there. I walk every morning, right

now it's only 30 mins., but I sometimes will walk 30 mins. in the evening also.

I'm at the mushy stage, and had the SMALLEST amount of Thanksgiving dinner,

which was so funny when the rest of my family was staring at my plate with what

would be considered 1 bite each for them, on my plate. I seem to have gotten off

track somewhere. I've been battling a serious UTI/Kidney infection the past two

weeks and can't seem to get enough water in to help & the antibiotics aren't

working either. This is one of the main reasons why I chose to have this

surgery, chronic UTI's & kidney infections that put me in the hospital. Has

anyone else experienced this kind of stuff before? If so, what did you do to get

through it? I can't seem to get enough water in me, I've always loved water, but

now it doesn't taste good to me any longer??? I'm confident I will start losing

again, just hope it doesn't last very long.

I stalled at 5 weeks out for 10days. I don't really think there is anything you can do to break it except maybe increasing your water intake. Don't worry it will get moving again and you aren't doing anything wrong.

Also walgreens sells the cranberry tablets. I will usually take those and drink a big jug of cranberry juice even though I can't stand it and it will usually go away on it's own. I also make a habit of drink one to two glasses a week of cranberry juice just to stay uti free, helps especially when ur body is doing something new, Hence new foods or exercise programs or chemical changes in ur body.AngieSent from my iPhoneOn Dec 1, 2010, at 8:30 PM, SuzanneSH@... wrote:

Hi Cheri,

Have you tried to flavor your water with Crystal Light? Sometimes that helps. I just make a point to have a bottle of water with me and sip it all day long. You don't have to like it to drink it. So it might be something that you have to deal with and just sip all day long. It is difficult to drink a lot of water, but anything with liquid does count toward your liquids that you need to get in. How about Chicken broth? Sometimes antibiotics will cause you to have a weight gain depending on what it is. Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing. Cranberry Juice is also good for you Kidney Infection. Do you drink that at all?

Cranberries are high in sugar, but some of the drinks are NOT.
