Hi,

Honestly, I don't think Weight Watchers is going to help you. Too much food on the weight watchers program for the sleeve--don't get me wrong I think Weight Watchers is great, but not what you need. Are you keeping your calories at about 800 per day? Are you writing down EVERYTHING that you are putting in your mouth???? This is a great site to use to keep track of EVERYTHING you are putting in your mouth http://www.thedailyplate.com/ Try using it, it takes a little time to do it, but it will really show you what you are eating and how many calories you really are taking in.

Remember the closer you get the harder it is to lose that weight. I think 8 pounds is a good weight loss. How much exercise are you doing and what kind are you doing?

This is just a tool that you have and you will find ways to make it work for you? Are you eating too many of the wrong carbs? Carbs are tricky and you need to make sure they are the good carbs not the white and refined carbs, but whole grain--NOT whole wheat, but whole grain.

Kick up the exercise if you are doing something. And remember muscle weighs more than fat so if you are getting some muscle that is OK too. It just takes time and so be patient.

Take care,

Suzanne

Very normal......everyone goes through it. Your body is adjusting to the weight

loss you've already gone through. You can't lose 20 pounds a month every month,

so it obviously has to slow down. Just get your protein and liquids in every

day, exercise or walk, and know that it's working.

anniversary? What do i need to do. Any calorie counting ideas or better food

suggestions. I am 28 pounds away from reaching my 100 lost mark. Im thinking

weight watcher can help me..

Stalls are a normal part of losing weight.  If you have lost that much weight in a short time you are doing things right.Normal and typical stalls happen at 3 weeks post op and then again about every 50#.  This is to be expected, just give it time.

HI,

That happened to me from my 6-10'th week. I upped my calories from 600 to 800 and now the weight is coming off again. I know it is tough when you are going through it but it WILL pass. I belong to a few other boards and this is a common problem that just about eveyone goes through.Good luck and congrats on the weight that you have lost!

I have heard that normal weight loss for sleevers after the first month or two is 5-10 pounds, so it sounds like you are doing really wellI was sleeved Feb 15, lost 13 pounds pre-op, 17 pounds the first month, 16 the second month, 9 the third month and 6 the fourth month. Have just  begun working with a personal trainer, hoping to speed up weight loss somewhat, and also to tighten up all of my saggy bits!

Good Luck!Margo margo.nelson@...On Tue, Jun 15, 2010 at 10:38 PM, Akitress <akitresssmith@...> wrote:

Everything will come in time. I’m two months out and I was

stressing because I stalled, not once – but twice, and now the scale is moving

again. Don’t worry about it.

If you doing some cardio exercise, even if you start out with 5

or 10 minutes a day, that really boosts your metabolism.
