Suzanne:

This is the second time that I have written a response to you about how fantastic you look and my posts have not gone through. It is a shame that whoever is monitoring this site is overlooking positive feedback and encouragement to the bloggers on this site and not allowing those posts to go through. We need words of encouragement! They are worth their weight in gold!

Please whoever is monitoring this board....make sure you let positive, encouraging messages go through to help these members continue with their weight loss!

Keep up the great work! You look fantastic!

Hugs!

Gail

Hi Jenn,

Thanks so much for the nice words. I do know that seeing "real" people and being able to see where they started and how their progress was going really made me feel like just maybe I could do this. Seeing pictures made a big difference for me.

When you start your journey, don't get upset if some months the weight loss slows down. It will get better next week or next month. It is about exercise and eating correctly.. I highly suggest that you track what you eat--you would be surprised at how easy it is to put calories in your body that you aren't aware of. We are here for support with you when you need it.

Take care and have a nice weekend

Suzanne

You look great, Suzanne! It is inspiring to see pictures like yours. I can't wait to be able to share my success with everyone!Jenn>> Hi Everyone,> > Well, we are having some Spring like weather here in Oregon, so I went outside this morning and took a few new pictures to update my photo album on this site. I have always posted photos monthly. My reason is for me to actually see my progress. I am a visual learner and that it helps me see just how far I have come. As I have said before sometimes when I see myself in the mirror I think who is that person?????? If you have been overweight for

a long time, it does take time getting use to seeing yourself become a thinner personI love it!> > I also know that before I started to talk to anyone on this site or ask any questions of anyone I spent a LOT of time just looking at everyone's photos and it really motivated me to believing that hey this just might work for me. You know how we all were thinkingI just might be the person that this surgery won't work on because I have failed at everything else I have tried when it comes to weight loss. So if you are that person who thinks this way we all want to tell you we have been where you are and YES it does work for us. We all lose weight at different rates. Some faster than others some slower than other, so please try to understand that. People who are new always ask the question "how fast does it come off." We all want that fat to drop off instantly don't we? I am giving myself 1 year to lose my weight and if it isn't off in a year I

am not going to panic because I know it will come off. > > So check out some of my photo's that I have uploaded, they should be on this site pretty soon. I value the friends that I have made on this site, enjoy the support I have received and hope that I can give back as much as I have received from all of you. We all have something in common we are successful or we are on our way to being successful for the first time in our lives at weight lossYEAH! > > I went back and checked my starting weight before I went to Mexicali for surgery and it was 225 pounds. When I went to Mexicali I was at 217> > Hugs,> Suzanne> > 225 160 125> Start Now Goal>
