How is the hotel??

I was feeling better last night but now that I am leaving soon my stomach is turning. How safe is the hotel Lucerne? Also when I go into surgery how long will my family member be alone and do they stay in the room or a waiting area during surgery? into Mexico, it's making me nervous. They say there have been lots of problems in the last few days!
