Guest guest
hi Billie! I was one of those getting a fill at the hospital. I spoke with you and your husband. I am in awe of a FAMILY doing this whole thing together. I admire you and your daughter for doing the surgery and your husband for being so supportive. Wow...... You made all the best choices. Enjoy the journey now. Best to you all. LoisBillie Branham <billiebranham@...> wrote: Hi everyone! Stacie and I made it home late last night. We were banded on Friday and everything went great! You all gave me the information I needed to KNOW that I was making the right decision and I can't thank you all enough! Dr. Aceves, his staff, and the hospital were all so wonderful, caring, and attentive. When Dr. Aceves was doing my surgery he found a hiatal hernia and repaired it. You are such a sweet person and you look wonderful! There was no need to "check" the picture, you're beautiful! Thank you for the kind words!! The trip home was a bit much with a five hour van ride and six hour plane ride. We were a bit exausted but very glad to be home, in our own beds! We are both doing well but struggling to get enough protien down. I think we have only had about 40 grams today. I think the pain I am having is from the gas, (I am having a hard time with that part) but my daughter is feeling wonderful, no gas issues, no pain! I guess everyone is different. My husband and I went to Costco today and boy was that hard. He got a piece of pizza at the deli because he was getting the shakes from not eating. He apologized for eating it in front of me (He has been wonderful through all of this!) and he ate all of the samples they had out. I was a bit jealous but not so much that I regreted doing this. We walked so much today I am wondering if that may be why my port area hurts, or maybe just gas.Well I have blabbed on enough. Again, thank you to everyone!!Billie Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search.
Guest guest
Billie,Congrats on getting your surgery done!!! I thought of something funny while reading your post. I run a bed and breakfast so about once a week I drive about 75 miles to go to Sams Club. Twice now I have walked in there thinking, I should eat soon, and then went on with my shopping. I stop at all the samples they give out and walk out of there thinking "I'm so full". Just wait, a few more months and you guys will be shopping and you will find that just stopping at the samples is a full meal for you! Its the funniest NSV I've had Keep us posted on your journey and walk walk walk that gas away Cyrena DOB: 1/19/07240/151/
