Guest guest
Hi Peggy, Did they say why specifically to wait on eating salad, bread and steak? Just wondering. Sometimes those are the things that give me occasional bad spasms? The follow up care you are going to get sounds excellent. I go back in a month. I am glad that an MD will be watching over things. No spasms since AM yesterday -- yeah!Great to hear about Jonathon -- wish I could meet you Sandi in LA, but the drive would be too much at my stage of recovery.Peg Start your day with - make it your home page

I have heard that Sandy might pick me up from the airport and take me there and visit me while in the hospital. I might also have the opportunity to see these children she is always trying to get someone to take. I have seriously considered taking them. This would give me the chance to know for sure if I want them. LOL Maggie Alabama
Guest guest
Peggy is his favorite, he said he didn't ever have to see me again. I've been dwelling on this, anyone know a good therapist? Rejection by yet another man. It never ends. Jan, even though he likes Peggy better, I know he will take the time to answer and respond to any phone calls. Even though you probably wouldn't travel to see him, he is an absolute expert regarding the esophagus. Dr. Fuller, Cedars Sinai, 310 652 0530. Maybe he can point you to another avenue. You must be so discouraged. I've been fortunate to have relief, but every once in a while a spasm will come or food like pancakes will stick and all those panicky feelings come right back. Luckily the spasms are very light and I drink water and back to normal. As part of your search, I think he is worth a phone call, as well as other doctors mentioned here often. They almost always call back because you are rare and they want the experience, especially in the more difficult cases. You are popular and desired, (Apparently I'm not, weeping and crawling to the kitchen for an anxiety pill. Alas there is a very short man, not my husband, who adores me for my knowledge, I guess I'll be nicer to him.) Call all the doctors you can while you are desirable. Guest guest
, the hunger issue is probably due to a low protein intake. Are you doing your protein drinks at breakfast and lunch? That and a meat at dinner should keep you from being so hungry. Make sure you are eliminating sugar and carbs and that will help control the hunger. Keep a diet lemondade or crystal light in your hand at parties and keep sipping to keep from eating. This is a rough time of the year for everyone. The good news is that we won't be 10-12 pounds heavier after the holidays this year as in years past in the Pre-Band Condition. All the best to you. This, too, will pass and you will be so happy with yourself. Guest guest
,Give your self a big ol' pat on the back or on the butt, which ever, on the self control at the party!!! It takes a very conscientious person to not cheat a little at a Christmas party but especially when you are on liquids. UGH!! Such control tells us that you are going to succeed in this journey!! The only suggestion I have is to get as much protein in as possible. That will help with the hunger but it still isn't easy. Good job on your self control.
