Congratulations ,

This is something you won't regret. I was just like you, I was excited but never nervous, I just felt like it was the right thing to do for me. I even went to Mexico by myself, but I just never felt alone, everyone was just so kind and nice. I pray everything goes good for you and Good luck and enjoy the experience!

Hello to all! I don't really say much but i just wanted to leteveryone know that tomorrow is the day. finally after like threemonths of having set the lapband date the day has finally come. im soexcited...everyone keeps on asking me if im nervous but the truth isthat i am not. i know that i am in good hands and that everything willbe alright in the hands of the staff and God(most importantly) . Sotomorrow is the big day....i am excited to start a new way of living.

Thank You for your paryers. Everything turned out aok. Dr. Aceves was great. I in a little pain but I know that it will go away eventually. I took the first step know I need to do the rest inorder to be succesfull and lose the weight

That is wonderful! Glad to hear everything went well. The soreness will get better everyday. Just follow the diet close and stay away from sweets and carbs as much as possible. They will just make you hungry! Keep us posted on how you are doing.

I did! It has been a good Christmas! My daughter and I went shopping Sat. (She gave me a gift card to the mall) and I was able to buy shirts in the regular size depts!!!!! No more Plus size clothes!!!!! This has been the best thing I could have ever done for myself. Thanks for the encouragement everybody on this site, ya'll are all the best.

: This is absolutely fabulous. If you compare the photos of you this Christmas with other years, you see a remarkable difference. I experienced an NSV just this way last night. We hooked the camera up to the TV to review all the holiday photos and my mouth dropped at how I was standing next to my husband and other folks looking just as "ordinary" in my Misses tops as opposed to the Women-sized clothes of many past years. Now if I can just get the bottom half of me to cooperate like the upper half has, I will be an even happier camper in '08! Happy New Year!
