Cheryl, I was just complaining to my husband because I haven't lost anything for a couple of weeks. I also think my body is saying no to losing weight cause it's trying to catch up but my clothes seem to feel looser..I am 4 months post op and have not started to lose my hair yet but I am sure it's coming..Your not aloneFrom: CherylH <boernecheryl@...>To:

I seem to be on a see-saw. Sometimes I'm losing weight, other times I'm just holding the line. BUT... it seems to me that when I'm NOT losing, that my body is reshaping. I can feel a difference in my clothes even when the scale doesn't move. It's like my body says "STOP!" and then rearranges what it has, and then goes back into losing mode.

Did anyone else experience this?

Next question - hair loss.

How long did your hair loss go on before it stopped? I was blessed with TONS of hair (just all very fine) so I'm not really worried about bare spots but I wonder just how long its going to keep falling out. It didn't start for me until about the 4th month; I'm now ending month 7. Just wondering. I'm tired of cleaning out my tub and sink! LOL!

Thanks for the info.

Hi Cheryl,

Well for me sure I had times when my weight loss was only just a few pounds or maybe none for a 8 or 9 days. You will have times through out your weight loss that you seem to stall and this is pretty normal depending on how much you have to lose. It also depends on if you are exercising too. Different people have this at different times through out their weight loss. And the closer you get to your goal just like most weight loss things, it gets harder to lose the weight. So for me I had to bump up the exercise, so I would walk more than once a day.

Now the hair loss. Mine stopped about 10 to 11 months after I had weight loss surgery. I have a lot of fine thin hair, and I notice the bald spots getting this fuzz like hair in the bald spots. Some hair takes longer to grow back. It depends on if you color your hair, do you have a healthy scalp for you hair to start growing back? I took and still to this day take Biotin for my hair. I can't say that is what made it start coming back, but I take it. You will find Biotin in with the Vitamins. Costco has a Biotin and that is where I buy mine.

Hang in there and Hugs,

Suzanne
