WOW! I loved reading this post. I love the part about your ugly feet and the scales--yes LOL. This is just fabulous! I think you are doing an amazing job and I am so very proud of your accomplishments. You just have to feel so very good about yourself with these new numbers and they will just keep dropping. Dr. A has changed so many of our lives. I tried to thank him one time and he said no I had to take the credit for my work and effort to lose the weight. He just gave me the tool to do it, and you know what he was so right.

But, you are a real hero to do this! You will make someone else who is sitting out there wondering if they should do this or not to make up their mind to go ahead and do it. We are just normal and regular people who have worked hard to be where we are. We don't get paid to write anything on this board. Yeah for you!

Hugs,

Suzanne

I had surgery on 3/28/08 and weighed in at 350. Due to a tragedy in the family 60 lbs was from just the previous year. I kept my goals simple I could never sustain a weight below 270 for over a decade. I figured keep goals low and just get healthy. Dr. A was a godsend. I just briefly passed 2 of my last milestones. I know I fluctuate 4-8 lbs but whenever I reach a new low mark within a few months it's my avg. weight. Like once my body knows it can get there it will. The other day I woke up and had to take a pic, of my ugly feet on the scale lol, it read 199.8 . Thus breaking the 150 lbs loss milestone and I don't think I weighed under 200 since hr. high school. Thanks a million Dr. A

WOW! Marc! How totally AWESOME!!!

You have GOT to be so proud of yourself!!!

I've never met you and *I* am so proud of you!

Did you ever DREAM this would happen? Aren't we blessed to have been introduced

to Dr. A and WLS? I just can NOT stop being thankful.

And thanks to you for sharing your message. All the " newbies " on the board need

to hear from those of us who have gone before them.

You are an inspiration. Isn't that cool?????
