You can also email Linn and ask about landline phones for your son. I personally use an AT & T 5.8 phone and also have tried a Panasonic from Radio Shack and both have great reception. My old Bellsouth phones do just as well. It would be a good idea to let your son try all phones for himself to see what he likes personally. Good luck and happy to hear he's doing so well!
