Guest guest
Hi Ted, YOU BET !! I talk on the phone, understand people without lipreading, understand people talking behind me, listen to music, radio, go to movies and everything else. All with SPEAK. Must be slow rate for slow minds? I've tried the other strategies, and did no better with them than I do with SPEAK, so I stick with that. I am attempting to use up a carton of batteries I bought in December of 2004. They had a pull date of January 2006. I still have maybe 15 packs of them left. All 6 or more months past the pull date, but still giving me 13+ days of power. I know I'm way at the top of the curve on this, and I used to get 2 weeks off 2 batteries with the old ESPrit BTE. Which nobody ever believed either. HOWEVER, do not even think of sacrificing hearing ability for better battery life. Life is short, hear what you can no matter how fast it runs through batteries. I'm just blessed with my battery life. The Original Can you still use the phone and listen to music, with SPEAK, the Original? Ted F.
