Guest guest Posted July 12, 2005 Report Share Posted July 12, 2005 I went walking at an old mall because it is quiet. I kept hearing this thump sound that I could not identify or place. I looked everywhere. I noticed that when I stopped so did the noise. Slowed down to see if it was my shoe. No-that sound was squeaky. Looked down as I walked. It was the plastic little thing at the tipof the shoelace hitting the pavement as I walked! I never heard that when I had perfect hearing. On my way home I turned on the radio. I have not listened to music for 2 years 4 months. First song was blurry. Then I decided to take my hearing aid off so I would not hear motor, A/C etc. Next song was " Mustang Sally " and I heard it perfectly. Every word. I danced and sang all the way home. She told me I wouldnot be able to here the radio or TV.
