Guest guest
This' very normal. Audiologists are usually very conservative when a child's first activated & for the first few times they're mapped. They want the child to get used to hearing but not overwhelmed by it. Some children cry when they hear for the first time & this' not what the audiologist wants to happen as the child very often refuses to wear the processor after being frightened by it. I'm sure, with more mapping appointments, you'll begin to notice many things that'll pleasantly surprise you. Yes - your own voice's quite loud when you hear it so I'm sure she really hears herself talk. When's her next appointment? Alice http://www..com thanks alice... she goes back tomorrow AM & i'll post when i know more!! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - (click on our 'BLOG' - below) _http://fromourbunchtoyours.blogspot.com/_ (http://fromourbunchtoyours.blogspot.com/) .. . . ~ Isaiah 46:11 ~ . . . - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
