Guest guest
Yes, honey you are being paranoid but this time it may be justified! As Alice said you need to be checked by your surgeon since it is totally possible this is a suture anchoring the implant. I have problems with Vicryl sutures, they are designed to be permanent but my tissue dissolves around them and the outer skin will open and then they come out...if interrupted sutures you can still see the knot intact or if running sutures a longer piece will emerge. It took this happening more than once and a look through past operative notes to get a definitive answer. Knowing this my ci surgeon avoided them completely and even told me what color his sutures were and if I noticed a strand or felt the knots migrating to just come to the clinic and I would get seen. As far as it being the array, I would think you would be hearing less or of lesser quality but it still warrants the pros checking it out...when I reject sutures it is within about 10 days to a month.
