Guest guest
Hi , I couldn't agree with you more! <smile> I felt much more secure in the hospital in that I could relax more without always being " on guard. " It was nice being able to turn my CI on or off depending on the situation. I was relieved that I didn't have to worry about how my nurses and surgeon would initiate communication when my CI was off. Thanks to this experience, I now know that my next hospital stay (which hopefully won't be for a very long time, if ever!) will be filled with less apprehension due to my inability to hear!
