Guest guest Posted December 31, 2004 Report Share Posted December 31, 2004 Happy New Year: I'm on prednisone to reduce a sinus infection. When I wake up in the morning and put on my CI , sounds, particularly my own voice, are loud and reverberating. After a while my brain seems to adapt and it doesn't bother me. I noticed the same effect a couple of months ago with Codeine and rushed to my audie to see if I'd screwed up the internal stuff. I hadn't but drugs can effect the nervous system including the auditory nerve. If I weren't on drugs I'd find out how champagne effects the CI experience tonight.
