Guest guest
They are fricatives OT - confusing sounds Hi , Are SH and CH dipthongs? I always loved that word, would use it as a slur if I could. " You lazy dipthong " Doesn't it sound like racy underwear for dips? OOPS, my bad, dipthongs are vowels, not consonants. Like oy in boy. Live and learn. The Original The sound I most struggled with before I lost my residual hearing in the left ear was " Sh " and " Ch " e.g. Share and Chair. Guest guest
Hi, As far as I know, a diphthong is a term related with vowels, not consonants. SH and CH are still consonants despite the fact that they are a combination of letters... OW as in the word " how " is a diphthong... Hope it helps... I had to get rid of the other one -- it wasn't doing what I was doing. & Dreamer Doll (Guide Dawggie) Newport, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rclark0276@... http://webpages.charter.net/dog_guide/ NEW Home Page!
