Guest guest
Hi Stan !!! I had my bad ear done.... 2 years ago in November...... I can hear....the frogs croaking at the pond by our house in the forest preserve.... ( last time I heard frogs croak is when i was 5...I am 54 now) I can hear when I rub my palms together.... I can hear when I rub my hand acrross fabric.... I can hear the dog drinking toilet water in the bathroom down the hall ( lol ) also hear when she comes back down the hall to me to give me a kiss (eww) as I hear her toenails tapping on the floor..... hear the bacon sizzle..... my son wheezing in his last cold.... the clock ticking...it was annoying so I moved it....... my children singing in the college concert choir... my two children who each play violin...and cello...... it sounds.....exquisite....... And the miracle continues.......................................... It has sooooooooo incredibly surpassed the hearing that I have in my so called *good ear* that I was protecting.... the difference is like night and day....... Good luck.... !!!! Hi- Res rocks !!!!!! LOL Jeanne Lee ( an occassional poster...and occassional reader ) No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars or sailed an unchartered land, or opened a new doorway for the human spirit..... Helen Keller I wish you all nothing but the best in your future endeavors, and I hope that you find a balance between enjoying the game while still focusing on your goals, whatever they may be. I leave you with a quote that I hope you will apply to your life so that even if you have pre-game jitters, you know that success is not impossible: Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing. ***Concluding remark from Sara Beth Lee's Senior Graduation Valadictorian Speech ***
