Guest guest
I am just so very happy for both you and Maya. I know what a hard road this has been to make a decision for your daughter. As someone who is binaural with a CI, I think with credence I can attest to the benefit of TWO ears vs. single sided-hearing with a C.I While I was on top of the world when I received my first CI, adding the second was almost anticlimactic. However, the additional benefit of binaural hearing is AWESOME!! Music is much richer sounding, listening in noise is much easier, I am able to tell the direction of sounds, particularly when in a safety kind of situation. Most of all.......listening in general is easier. That means: Quality, Directionality, Ease of hearing a soft sounds....and the list goes on from here. .. Warmly, Carol in WI
