Guest guest
Larry, It's nice to hear from you even if your life is too busy to check in as often as before. We do understand how that can happen but I'm glad you are able to visit with her. It sure sounds as if you have done very well with your new CI and I congratulate you on this. I'm sure you have been very diligent about listening for the sounds and training your brain to understand. Here is the listing of the CI Centers in the Memphis area. I don't know anything about them but you ci goes on trial Hello everyone, I'm very sorry I haven't been looking at my email lately but I have been doing a lot of listening mostly to court tv. My favorite is forensic files. I listen to case after case. My listening ability has gotten better and the last time I was tested it was 90%. I am very happy. I went to Monette last Wednesday ahead of a huge snowstorm. I was able to spend the day with Sharon. I had a real test trying to understand my mother because she has a hearing loss and she is in denial. Therefore, she keeps the tv blasting at all times. My ci came through the trial with flying colors. , I'm glad your surgery was successful, and I look forward to hearing about your activation. My mother and I are trying to buy a house in Monette so I don't know how long I will be here. At first I dreaded it, but now I look forward to to it. Where is the ci center in Memphis? I will be a lot closer to Memphis than Little Rock. I guess I will go for now. ttys Larry
