Guest guest
Hey y'all,On Monday, I had a mapping session with . Instead of turning thepower up. turned them DOWN on the left side (newly implanted)she discovered that first 4 electrodes causes my to blink and twitchmany time as the noise level get too loud. She widen the range but inlow frequency range instead of high frequency range. She said shewon't change the frequency rate in high frequency at all for first 4electrodes. She also put on a mixed telecoil on the left earprocessors. Am still on SPEAK and helping me understanding the speechas well. She didn't do anything to my right one and she said sheprobably can't because when she tried to turn it up my face spasmedand it occured everytime sessions that I had with so she saidshe guess that it is all she can do with my right implant exceptadjusting the maps little by adjusting the rate of stimulation orstuff like that. Now, everything are more balanced... And I am soglad because I refused to wear my implants for 2 days in row becauseeverything was too loud even I am on 0 setting on BOTH processors. said that it appear that my left ear nerve is VERY senstive tothe electrical stimulation and sounds. I am going to bed and sleep trying to forget what happened at theJapanese resturant today... FYI: the drama between a friend and hisex really suck... Never go to the resturant that the ex frequent atall... Learned my lesson tonight. *sigh*Jarom
