Hi ! TGIF to all tonight from Bob! This is NOT a commercial! Mama don' 'low no

commercials roun'

this list! <GG>

And Devilbiss will learn of this post at the same time as all on these

lists tonight! Bob

cannot be bought! <G>

, " In a Nutshell " : Member Devilbiss is a HOH, now with a CI,

retired electronics

engineer, who designs and makes and sells certain affordable ALD items to

improve our listening

experience. These include neckloops for those with T coils and, of particular

interest lately on

some lists, patchcords for the CI incorporating surge suppression, at super

prices!

For example, the CI patchcord with surge suppression is only $17.50 US.

is also a long-time member of SHHH, and currently serves on the Board of

Trustees. When

living in Falls Church, Va., was a regular volunteer at SHHH National in

Bethesda, Md.

BobNote: When connecting, via patchcord, the CI to ANY device plugged into the

wall, it is

imperative that the cord thus employed include surge protection circuitry !!

's Patchcords are on the approved vendors list at Advanced Bionics, but

VERY hard to find!

( Soon to be better, I was recently told by Dozier of AB, with a search

button to be included

in the next website update! COOL ! )

Anyway, the " vendors list " as mentioned appears on the AB website in a section

entitled " Better

Living With a Cochlear Implant " . Some valuable information there - On phones,

ALD's and more. Here

is the link:

http://www.cochlearimplant.com/support/betterliving/ald_patch.asp

The AB vendors list now includes updated phone and e-mail for Devilbiss

Development ( ) but

no link to his online catalog. I will fix that right now, and also suggest that

AB include the same

on their website. The link:

That's All Folks, on this one, as the famous Warner Bros. Bunny favored.........
