Guest guest
Hey . Yes, I had something very similar to that happen recently. It was weird and I couldn't figure out what was going on....still haven't. For about a week, everything suddenly changed and I was only hearing environmental sounds and really struggling with voiceds and turning my volume up all the way at times. I tried both my processors and some of the other equipment and everything was the same. I called my audi and told her I needed to get in ASAP, that something weird was going on. I couldn't see her for two weeks. I was hearing the worst I had since before hookup. Scary. I was taking some antibiotics for an infection and also had just started back wearing my HA, so I took that out and still the same thing. I truly don't know which it was, but after about a week, it all cleared up and was back to like it was before. I have had some sinus stuff going on too, but anyway, hopefully yours will be much better soon too. I think it's normal to have hearing changes with changes going on in our bodies. Let us know how you are doing! Hugs, Deborah Stroud Implanted AB HiRes 5-24-05 Hooked Up 6-16-05 What an Incredible Journey! Throughout the day I noticed that I've been having a little more difficulty hearing with my CI. I had to turn my processor up a little higher than usual to get extra clarity. Have any of you experienced a change in hearing when you have a cold or allergies? I'd like to know if this a possibility or if it's something that I am imagining.
