Guest guest Posted February 7, 2006 Report Share Posted February 7, 2006 Hi , Have you had your balance test yet? I remember you were asking about it and wondered how it went. I had mine today. First the audie put some electrodes on my forehead and had me track a moving red light. Next she put some black goggles over my eyes and asked me to keep them open. Then she squirted cold and warm water into my ears and watched the response in my eyes. I felt very dizzy but she said that was a good response as it shows the vestibular system was working well. I'm glad she told me that because I would have thought I had flunked the test! Anyway she said I did well. I've finished all my tests now. So the next step is getting the surgery date!!
