Guest guest
Jerome, Since you do not yet have a cochlear implant, please refrain from giving information about it to others who are seeking information. Residual hearing is not usually left after an implant. If you had good hearing to start with, you wouldn't need the implant. If any residual hearing is left, it won't be of use to a person with an implant, or they wouldn't have needed the implant to begin with. Please be careful about posting things like this because it confuses people, and those of us who have implants and know more about it spend countless hours trying to correct the wrong information posted by someone who doesn't know. Thanks, not all residual hearing is gone, some people still have residual hearing but no longer useful
