Guest guest
Hi Lee, If your audiologist recommended A./V therapy, then you have a good audi. It was never suggested to me, nor to a vast majority of implanted people. The Cleveland Clinic is starting an A/V program this summer and ALL the folks who have an implant will have a session. For a lot of people, A/V is essential, and yet many are not even told it exists. Lists like this will bring it to people's attention. Nucleus Volunteer Post lingual - Auto Immune disorder Children are given this as a matter of course, while adults are expected to learn how to hear again - or for the first time - on their own. It is really this bad? I was offered aural therapy without any begging on my part. In fact, I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for my audie's recommendation.
