Always end up reading lots more. Truly a book of knowledge. Meanwhile, a good idea to remember is PEOPLE FIRST. DISABILITIES SECOND. I don't think of myself as being deaf, although I am. It is not a defining adjective about me. Rarely even think of myself as deaf. So, you did good raising that kiddo. Keep up the good work. The Original Kyersten gave no thought to including " deaf " as she chose words and phrases to describe her mom. Somewhere along the line, I must have done something right.
