Guest guest
Well as I promised I would report what I found when I got my cell phone. Tonight we went took the plunge and are now in the new age of cell phones. They let me try it out in the store and it is amazing--of course I have not made tons of calls but so far so good. It is a Samsung SCH-a870 which is compatible both with and without my T-coil--something I really wanted. I learned that there are ratings on phone as to being hearing aid compatible and T-coil compatible with M and T ratings. M4 and T4 are deemed to be the phones least likely to have interference. This phone is rated both M-4 and T-4 and the guy told me that it just came in last week. It is amazing I can hear better on it than I can my regular land line phone. Apparently there are very few phones that have both of these ratings. Here is the link to the phone: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst & action=viewP\ honeDetail & selectedPhoneId=2445 Here is the link to the info about the M and T ratings: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/aboutUs/accessibility/digitalPhones.jsp Hope this info helps others.
