6 Month Bilateral Evaluation

Today I went for my 6 month bilateral evaluation and I'm pleased to say

testing went very, very well! My audiologist did not need to make any

changes to my mappings and my testing indicated that I'm understanding

speech quite well with both CIs and my Freedom alone. On the sentence test

in quiet I scored 97%!! My word test score was in the 90th percentile as

well as the sentence in noise test. I can honestly say that I feel very

comfortable communicating with almost anyone which is an improvement

considering the adjustments that have been made over the past 6 months for

both CIs to sound balanced. I'm thrilled to be bilateral and encourage

anyone who is considering the idea to go for it!
