Guest guest
, We rarely get snow here in Memphis, but in December had a freezing drizzle. My 12 year old son , was playing outside with his friends and asked " What is that noise? " After we told him, his response was " Cool, I never knew snow made noise! " The wonders of the CI! Thanks for sharing. Deb Mom to , implanted 10 years Nucleus 22-3G Memphis
Guest guest
, You would love Oregon rain. LOL Especially in winter when the winds are way over 50mph. Best time to stay in and drink mochas, right! *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* Proofread carefully to see if you any words out. & Gimlet (Guide Dawggie) Portland, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rlclark77@... http://home.comcast.net/~rlclark77/
Guest guest
, For years I longed to hear rain and after hookup stood in the open doorway to hear it fall on wood, then concrete. But rain on your slicker is the best!. Guest guest
, Again - you have touched so many people by the simple expression of gratitude by just sharing your feelings about hearing the rain. I know what you mean though. Yesterday, I first heard rain and then hail and then rain again. It was noisy but I feel blessed that I can hear it. Alice -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Now I know why I live in Milwaukee and not Chicago. <grin> However, I'd love to visit you and share a mocha together no matter what Mother Nature throws at us. <smile> Implanted: 12/22/04 Activated: 1/18/05 Deafblind/Postlingual BTE hearing aid user 20 years Severe-profound hearing loss 10 years

Guest guest
Alice and list, Thank you all for your messages. It was so exciting to hear the rain for the first time in years! I can't wait to hear my first hailstorm or the sound of thunder. This has been quite an amazing journey and it's only going to get better. <smile> Thanks again!
