Guest guest
Hi Debbie, We are very close in surgery dates, I was implanted on June 3. I am doing great also, and I share your problem with phones, I am using my phone as much as possible, both office and cell, but I need a lot of repeats. I can’t make a specific recommendation on Cell model, but I told someone else go to a cell provider and explain your situation, have them give you an activated phone to try. I have been doing this and not found the one I want yet, but I am glad I did not pick the one I thought looked nice, I could not hear a thing with it. Here is a web site that you might check out, I plan to order the Mobile phone hands free kit the offer, it looks like it should be fairly comfortable and it works with the tcoil so that should help. Wore hearing aids until March when all hearing was gone. I'm 44 an office manager. I received my Nucleus Freedom Implant on June 12, 2005. This all happened so fast, I still have trouble taking it all in. My last appt with the audi was Fri Aug 19, she thinks I am doing great. My speech understanding was 20 it was 6 before the implant. Most challenge is the phone at work, I'm unable to understand on the phone/cell phone. I know this might take a while longer. Any suggestion on types of phone/cell phone would be appreciated. Thank You for responding looking forward to hearing from you. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
