So why are you planning on eating *any* white flour? That stuff is almost equal to sugar, nutritionally. >My only trouble is when I am eating out. Well, *then* it would be hard to avoid, unless the place has whole wheat rolls and pasta. With the low-carb craze sweeping the country, ask, because the restaurant just might have whole wheat alternatives available.

Guest guest
Yeah that strange taste is fairly common and goes away after some time. I dont remember how long in my case, its so gradual. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* A smile is the same in any language. & Gimlet (Guide Dawggie) Portland, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rlclark77@... http://home.comcast.net/~rlclark77/

Guest guest
I had a metallic taste in my mouth for right around 2 months after surgery.. didn't affect my eating though! Also had my family dr take my staples out so I didn't have to make the 3 and 1/2 hour trip to have the ci surgeon remove them. Everything should gradually return to normal. Wishing you the best for a speedy recovery.
