Guest guest
Hi , Used to be everyone started with the body worn, because it is more flexible. Holds 4 maps, and you can adjust both volume and sensitivity on each map. But once folks went with the 3G (which holds 2 maps, and you can control either volume OR sensitivity, not both) they found the body worn had become a very expensive paper weight. So lots of folks are starting with the 3G. some folks start with 2 of them so they can have 4 maps to try. Depending on your insurance coverage, you might get one or 2 processors. If you only get one, then you have to decide if you want a body worn or a 3G. IF you have ordered a body worn, and don't want it, tell the audiologist, because it can be returned and exchanged if it has not been used. I have a ? about processors. Somewhere I got the idea that everyone had to start with a body worn processor then would move to the 3G. Some post are reading like people are starting with the 3G, am I understanding right? Do we get both processors? Is the body processor rechargeable? Sorry so many questions. Thanks in advance.
