Guest guest
Here are some of the pictures from the conference and candle light vigil. Sorry some of them are a little blurry. The vigil wasn't in the chapel as they had just varnished the floors. We had it in the laberinth instead. (I hope I spelt and said that right.) The pictures are also of all the speakers. Enjoy. Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I had a wonderful time at the Celebration. I just wish there would have been extra time to meet more of you and to visit. My husband and I stayed over until Tuesday morning to see the sites in San and did not get back home until very late Tuesday night. It was a long drive from San to Fairhope, AL, and traffic was much worse on the way back home than it was going over. I'm still exhausted and trying to get caught up. I've finally gotten some of my pictures from the Celebration uploaded to the Kodak Gallery. Just click on the link below and you should be able to view them. <http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=177t6v72.4dywi4im & x=0 & y=-lg095v> It was such a privilege meeting Professor Graeme . He is such a wonderful man who truly cares about all of us. It was also wonderful to meet Rod Saunders and Jim . I read " Sounds from Silence " during my recovery from CI surgery, and it was very moving to think of all the sacrifices and hard work that went into making the CI possible for us. - Thanks so much for making the decorations for us to recognize each other. Those little hats with the streamers were really cute and they were much more noticeable than the " Nucleus Forum " ribbon at the bottom of our badge. I don't know how many people stopped me and asked where I got mine.
