Guest guest
ted, you asked for my hearing history. here it is: till age 4 I was good hearing. at that age, I went practically deaf, to 95db right ear and 108 left ear. it has remained like that for 36 years now, no changes. only, last 2,5 years I have had tremendous trouble with earmolds and hearing aid......something is wrong with the hearing aid and seems the earmolds closed of far too much, causing vacuum problems causing hearing problems and till today nobody took effort to dive into this and solve it. last two months I have tested three hearing aids with no luck. those were phonak supero, phonak maxx, oticon sumo. all were programmed to the max and the last one seems to do best with some exceptions. besides this, summer 2005 I got acute hearing problems in the ear where I have always worn my hearing aid, the right ear. when I put the hearing aid into my ear and hear sounds, I acutely get balance problems, fall over to the left, and get very very nauseous and dizzy. till today nobody thought it neccessary to find the causes for this problem. it is still there, and that is why I have the hearing aid in my left ear now, where I never have worn anything till I started last year, and since then nothing than problems. I can show you HANDS FULL of earmolds and NO ONE fits properly, or there are other problems closing of my ear too much.... the story goes on. this is why I am so fed up with docs and pro's, I kept running into the wrong ones only interested in making money and not ME or my situation. needless to say what all the stress has done to me. so here I am, and ready for an CI. berti
