3 Days Post Surgery

I am on the way to pick up my two boys (one is mine - adopted at age 6, and

the other is an exchange student from Malaysia), and if I feel okay after that

drive, we will drive up to Vancouver and watch my daughter play in the Western

States Basketball Classic! I washed my hair this morning and feel decent,

and HUNGRY!

Wow! You are doing great for just 3 days after surgery. I hope my recuperation

goes that well!!!

That is neat that you have an exchange student from Malaysia. Is he fluent in

English and does he go to HS or College? I've had friends who have hosted

exchange students and would love to do that when my daughter is older. She is

just 8 now. Do you have other kids besides the 6 yr old and daughter (HS or

College, I'm guessing?).

I'm mostly STUBBORN! and I really wanted to see my daughter play in

her first BIG tournament! The girls won THIRD place after the two big

California schools! I'm so proud of my daughter!

Wai Kit is 17, deaf, and reasonably fluent in English and ASL, as

well as his native Malaysian and MSL.

Do you have other kids besides the 6 yr old and daughter (HS or

College, I'm guessing?).

I have two other children I adopted at age 6 (now 16). Both are

freshmen at the school I am administrator at.

I don't recommend this sort of activity for three days post surgery.

I overdid it, and now am going to veg in my comfy recliner the rest

of the weekend. Janet
