Guest guest Posted February 15, 2005 Report Share Posted February 15, 2005 Who decided that Cochlear CI's are more reliable? I have an AB CI, and haven't had any problems. I don't know anyone who's had any problems with AB CI's, but I know at least two people who had major problems with Cochlear's CI's. Just because Cochlear hasn't recalled the CI's that people are having trouble with doesn't mean they're more reliable. Personally, I'd rather go with a company that admits there is a problem and fixes it than one that tells the implantees that THEY are the problem. Just my opinion... Besides which, I thought we weren't supposed to promote one brand over another on this list... Now the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.
