Guest guest
As many of you know, I've been using a Sony sson " candy bar " shaped cell phone for the past several months. Although I love this phone for its accessibility and clarity of sound, I'm considering the purchase of a clamshell phone which will make it easier for me to hear others when I initiate a phone call. For those of you who are currently using a clamshell phone with your CI, what brand/model are you using? If any of you are using a cell phone with a neckloop or similar attachments , I would appreciate hearing about your experiences as well. Thanks! <smile> ! By the way, there are several cell phones on the market which have specialized software which allow it to " talk. " The software allows a blind or visually impaired person to access almost all of the features available on a cell phone including voice male, text messaging, address book and calendar. I would *love* to have a phone like this, but can't afford it since the total cost of the phone and software can be as high as $600 or more . <gulp> LOL!
