Guest guest
, I apologize for not responding to your post sooner. You asked whether or not I could hear the difference between two different vehicles. The answer is yes. Larger vehicles (like FedEx, and UPS) have a different sound to their engine than smaller vehicles (such as my mail carrier's truck or a small sized car). Smaller vehicles have engines that sound more compact and quieter while larger vehicles have engines that sound much, much louder. In addition, larger vehicles (such as busses and trucks) have a sound that tends to envelope you and sound closer in proximity to you than smaller cars. While smaller cars can be heard from a distance, you can't hear them as well and their engines exhibit more of a " whirring " sound than the deeper grinding sound large engines tend to have.
